A substitute teacher in Indiana pleaded guilty after being accused of sending multiple nude photos to a middle school boy every time she took a shower.


Cassidy Carter was sentenced to two years in jail after she pleaded guilty to one count of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, according to WXIX.


Carter, who was 21 years old while working as a substitute at South Dearborn Community School Corporation, sent photos to a 14-year-old student, according to a criminal complaint.


Court records cited by the outlet show that the student told a school resource officer, who then informed the principal about what happened on December 1, 2023.


The student said the relationship started in November of that year after becoming friends on Snapchat.

The victim said that the substitute would send him nude photos every time she went to take a shower, according to court records.

The documents also noted that he said she would send the photos late at night and also noted that she told the boy she was in love with him.


The teen's phone was searched by investigators who found several messages and nude pictures of Carter.
