Teen Attacks Girl Who Refused His Phone Number. A 14-year-old boy is under arrest after a video that spread quickly online showed him slamming a 15-year-old girl to the pavement and stomping on her head in East Harlem. The whole thing started around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the busy corner of East 107th Street and Third Avenue, right after school let out. Police say the boy approached the girl and asked for her number. When she turned him down, he blocked her path in the crosswalk and threatened to knock her out, with one of his friends egging him on. She told him to back off and tried to walk away. That’s when he grabbed her from behind, lifted her up, and threw her down hard onto the sidewalk. He then stomped on her head before walking off. The girl ended up with a concussion. Teacher Str-angles Former Student, Leaves Her for De-ad in the Woods In April 2006, in Belleville, Illinois, 17-year-old Ashley Reeves was brutally attacked by her former high school teacher and track coach, Sam Shelton, who was 27 years old at the time. Shelton lured Ashley into the woods under the pretense of helping her with a personal issue. Once there, he strangled her with his hands and a belt, beat her severely, and left her for dead in a remote wooded area. He believed she was dead and even went back to work afterward. Ashley endured over 30 hours lying in the cold woods, suffering from a broken neck (in two places), a crushed voice box, a fractured skull, and numerous other injuries. 50 Years Later Woman Guilty of Killing Baby with Scalding Hot Bath. Janice Nix, 67, was found guilty Monday of manslaughter in the 1978 death of 5-year-old Andrea Bernard after jurors decided she forced the girl into a dangerously hot bath as punishment at the family home in London. The incident took place on June 6, 1978. Andrea suffered burns covering about half her body and died five weeks later on July 13th from sepsis and related complications. Back then, investigators treated the death as an accident. According to the Metropolitan Police, the case stayed closed until Andrea’s older brother, Desmond Bernard, came forward in September 2022 with a different account of what happened that day. He was around eight years old at the time. Desmond told police and later testified that Nix made him promise to say it was an accident so the beatings would stop. A 31-year-old teacher from Wisconsin now faces three felony counts after police say she became involved in an inappropriate relationship with a teenage boy in her class. The case started when staff at the private school came across a letter from the teacher, Keisha Stuart, addressed to the 14-year-old student. School officials described the note as concerning enough to contact authorities right away.   Investigators later spoke with the student, who told police the situation with his teacher crossed the line, according to details shared in the criminal complaint and confirmed across multiple reports from FOX11.  The teen described multiple visits to Stuart’s apartment, including times when he had run away from home, and said she made sexual advances. In mid-November 2010, residents living near Wat Bowon Rangsri, a Buddhist temple in Bangkok's old city, began complaining of a powerful and persistent smell. On 16 November, police investigated and traced the odour to the temple's mortuary, a room normally used to hold bodies awaiting cremation, a process that under Thai Buddhist tradition can take place years after death. Inside, authorities found more than 300 foetuses stored in white plastic bags.  They returned two days later. A total of 1,654 more foetuses were found in two further rooms. Some had been stored there for more than a year. The final count exceeded 2,000.
